Queen Bee

 Hello crafters!

I hope you are all surviving the rather warm weather we are having at the moment - I feel like I could end up as a puddle on the floor, BUT, I did manage to get in the craft room to make a card for our new theme at Passion for Promarkers - without coming out with bits of paper etc stuck all over me!

Our theme has been chosen by Linda and she would like you to 'Add A Number' to your projects - I look forward to seeing your entries :)

Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter

I unfortunately find myself needing cards for quite high numbers now, lol, so I have made one ready for the next one of my friends to join my club!

Image - 'The Queen Bee' - TPS colored with Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs

Papers and flowers from my stash

Finished off with some enamel dots, a bow and, of course a big glittery 50 die-cut

Challenges:

'Blooms Bees and Butterflies or Anything Goes' - Allsorts

'Summer Colours' - Dream Valley

Seeing Spots!

I'm here to tell you about the new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today - Karen has chosen 'Go Dotty' - do pop in to the blog for some spotty inspiration!

Our sponsor is  Clearly Besotted Stamps

I have used a cute image from our sponsor for my DT card and have deviated from my usual square card to an A5 one, sorry for the wonky photo AND the wonky matting and layering - it's very hard to get things straight only using one hand!

Image - 'Bee Safe' - Clearly Besotted coloured with Promarkers

dotty paper - Sue Wilson's 'Dots N Stripes' 8x8 pad

I used some stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn and finished off with a bow and some enamel dots

'Dots or Stripes' - Crafty Catz

'Anything Goes' - Digi |Choosday

Thanks for popping in!

Happy Anniversary to us!

Yes, it's our anniversary at Passion for Markers this week and our challenge theme is a nice and easy one - 'Anything Goes'

As usual,  Denise has worked really hard and has secured some fantastic sponsors and prizes, so, pop in to the blog to check them all out and get some fab inspiration from both DTs

My card this time is somewhat of an LOTV love fest! I had a splurge on some of their sale items (actual polymer stamps, not digis) and they are beyond cute!

Images - 'Bunny Alphabet' - LOTV

Tag sentiments and paper - LOTV

I used Lisa Horton's 'Postage Slimline 'die cut from kraft card to matt my image onto a landscape DL card

Finished off with some punched butterflies with teeny tiny pearls for bodies and a blue bow

Challenges:

'Spring and/or animals' - Incy Wincy

'Anything Goes/Cute' - I Love Promarkers

Bob's Balloons

Well, it's pouring hard here which is very disappointing after the last few days of glorious sunshine, but, on the plus side - it's a perfect day for crafting! and for joining in our latest challenge at Passion for Markers where the theme this time couldn't be easier! - We would like to see projects made for 'Birthdays'

The lucky DT got to choose an image from our sponsor Dr Digi's HOS to play with and I chose 'Bob's Balloons' as balloons definitely qualify for our theme

After year's of struggling to make cards for men - I seem to be on a bit of a roll as this is the 3rd masculine card I have made for our challenges lately

Image - 'Bob's Balloons' - Dr Digi coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Tri-blends

Papers - Phill Martin's 'Premium Inserts' 8x8 pad

I used 'Square Notched Corners' die from Crafts Too for the image and some balloon dies ( not sure from where) for added decoration together with Sue Wilson's 'Stacked Happy Birthday die from her' Mini Expressions' range

Finished off with some enamel dots

Challenges:

'Anything Goes' - A Gem of a challenge (Polkadoodles)

Thanks for visiting!
