Sparkle!

 I wish this year would slow down - it seems like the kids have only just gone back to school and suddenly the dreaded 'C' word is being thrown around - I am so not ready for that!

We have a new challenge starting today at Passion for Markers  and this time it was my turn to choose a theme (that seems to come around so quick!) and despite always struggling before with male cards I decided to get out of my comfort zone and go with 'Masculine'

I opted for the easy route on my DT card and have used dies with stitched edges and I have used a digital stamp from Di's shop on Etsy:

 Morning Crafters, I'm here to tell you about the latest challenge at Passion for Markers which starts today and it was my turn to choose a theme - I have gone for another favourite of mine and (I think) a nice easy one - 'Animals'

I won a fantastic prize at Allsorts recently which was a voucher to spend in Buddly Crafts where (among other things!) I picked up this cute Penny Black stamp - I just love the sentiment that came with it and have used it on my DT card:

Papers are from various Hunkydory kits - I thought the candle one was very appropriate!

All layers matted onto Kraft card - my favourite colour at the moment

The circle and square were cut from dies in Craft Addiction Uk's Scallopstacked sets and the sentiment was cut using Hunkydory's Moonstone 'Fancy Label' nesting dies

Happy Birthday!

Ok, so how many of you are enjoying this weather? I had hoped that I wouldn't suffer from the heat as badly this year after losing 4 stone, however I suppose as a menopausal woman that was wishful thinking! So, I thought I would do some crafting to distract myself, but after a couple of hours of sticking to everything I picked up 😡I gave up, but I did manage to make my DT card for the new challenge at Passion for Markers. 

Elaine has chosen the easy peasy theme of Happy Birthday, so get out your markers and have a play
