I’ve Got The Blues

I can’t believe that it’s nearly February and that  I have been a GD for Come & Get It for a month already where today sees the start of a new challenge – this week it’s Tic Tac Toe and this is Julie’s grid.

CAGI Bingo-001

I love these sorts of challenges because there is lots to choose from, which is lucky as I nearly had to start again, as when I went to upload my card to the DT blog I realised that it was ‘Paper Piercing’, not ‘Paper Piecing’ – hence the reason for his paper pieced wellies and umbrella!  So instead I have chosen glitter/free/ribbon/ for my card (phew, lol!)
I have got a bit of a thing about not leaving a lot of white around my images at the moment, but have not quite got subtle inking down to a fine art yet! So this time, I coloured the background with a ‘Powder Blue’ Promarker and then I used the blender pen to make dots which are supposed to look like rain, but my son said look more like snow and they don’t show up in the photo anyway!
