I can't believe it's already time for the first challenge of 2025 at Passion for Markers! We have an unusual theme this time from our lovely Linda - she would like you to 'Include An Insect' 

I found a really sweet image that I thought was perfect for this challenge and here is my DT card:

January Blues

 Happy New Year! 

And with the New Year comes a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers - Lisa would like you to use shades of blue for this challenge, remember to pop in to the Promarker Blog for some blue inspiration

I decided to use a fun image for this one as I'm feeling a bit blue and could do with cheering up (Covid ripped through the family like a bowling ball, knocking everyone off their feet!)

And I got ahead on my Birthday cards for 2022,  this one is not due until May

Autumn is here!

 So, I was all organised this week, I had my DT card made and uploaded and had even made cards ready for the challenges up until Christmas and then I had one of those moments this morning where your stomach feels like it's hit your feet when I realised that I had blogged the wrong card - what a wally!

Snappy Birthday!

It's time again for another challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week it's my choice of theme, so I would like to see projects featuring 'Mythical Creatures' I was very tempted to use a fairy image, but then remembered I had not used my latest stamp purchase, so here he is:

I decided to make a triangle shaped card for a change and I rather like it, so it won't be the last time!

Right Up My Street

Yes, just as suggested by my post title, this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers is definitely one for me - we would like to see you 'Make It Pink', so, any image will be ok as long as it is coloured with promarkers and your main colour is pink, please pop over to the blog for some pretty in pink inspiration from Team 2

I thought it was time I used this sweet digi image which looks just like my Westie, although she's not quite white at the moment!

For A Child

Morning all, just wanted to let you know about our latest challenge at Passion for Promarkers starting today, we would like to see projects 'For A Child' and if you can add stitching (faux or real) that would be fab!

I have been waiting for a chance to use this sweet fairy image, so I was thrilled when my son asked me for a card for a friend's little girl's first birthday - here is what I came up with:

Paper - 'Soft Cuddles (pink)' - LOTV

I used a Happy Birthday die and an alphabet die to personalise the card cut from kraft card

I also used my newest die 'Square Notched Corners' from Crafts Too for the mats and layers 

Finished off with a bow, flowers and pearls from my stash and the obligatory glitter on her wings!

Sweet Ruby

Here we go again at Passion for Promarkers, another lovely straightforward challenge - 'Use 3 of Something'

I have had a couple of stamps that I have been itching to use and so here is Ruby from Whimsy Stamps - I have used 3 star die-cuts for my DT card and NO papers!

I have used lots of dies on my card:  some of the dies from Sue Wilson's 'Noble Classic Adorned Squares and 'Ornate Pierced Squares'    the holly sprig is from Apple Blossom's All Occasions 'Wintry Additions'    'Precious Stars' from Memory Box  

The embossing folder and snowflake die are by Sara Davies and were free in a magazine

You can't see well in the picture, but I have used  a Wink of Stella pen on the snowflake and Ruby's furry cuffs and collar

Numbers

The challenge at Passion for Promarkers this fortnight is 'Include  A Number' - simples, right?  This was a nicely timed challenge for me as my friend's daughter was  coming up for 8, she is into gymnastics big time and so I thought this image was perfect, here is my DT card:

Glitter/Sparkle

We have a fab new challenge at Passion for Promarkers this fortnight, so prepare to get glittery and add some sparkle to your projects please. (I always seem to get more on me than my card!)

To me, fairies and glitter go hand in hand and here is my DT card:

The image is from  Whimsy Stamps - I adore all their fairies, but this cutie caught my eye with her sassy stance!

No papers this time - just some glitter card which looks grey here, but is in fact silver!

Enamel dots are also from Whimsy Stamps

I cut the borders with a  Spellbinders A2 curved borders die

and finished off with some Creative Expressions glitter on the wings

Vibrant Colours!

I don't know about you, but although I love to see the sun, I hate crafting when everything wants to stick to me!

Stand Out!

Hi, Two posts in one week from me, It's been a while since I did that! I'm back with a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this time we would like you to 'Add A Sentiment' to your projects

The DT were allowed an image to use from our sponsor and some of us chose this cute Toucan which I decided to colour differently than the traditional orange and black, I hope you like him!
