Lazy Afternoon

I am very excited about the new challenge at Passion for Markers as we are being sponsored by LOTV - one of, if not, my ultimate favourite stamp shops! 

I am getting ahead (for once) with my Fathers day cards( which I sell at my Stroke Association social meetings - all proceeds going to the charity)

My card has been made with everything LOTV and as our theme is 'One for the Boys/Men' I have kept it fairly CAS (a very hard thing to do as I love my pearls, gems and glitter!)

Pretty Mermaid

 Another Tuesday - another challenge at Passion for Markers!

It was my turn to choose a theme this week and instead of my usual 'use pink' I have gone for 'Mythical Creatures'

The DT were allowed to choose an image to play with from our sponsor Leann's World 101 and we chose this pretty mermaid - don't forget to pop in to the blog to see what the other girls did with her here. It never ceases to amaze me how we can all come up with such different ideas for the same image!

I decided against any papers for this card (shock, horror!)and went with 'Squeezed Lemonade' distress oxide inked through a bubble stencil instead 

I used Spectrum Noir markers to colour her and added some stickles to her tail

New challenge at PFM

 So, we finally saw some sunshine this week, yay!

And to add to the spring-like feeling, we have a new challenge at Passion for Markers - this week Lisa would like to see projects based on our theme of  'In the Garden', we are being sponsored by SheepSki Designs and the DT got to play wih some of their lovely digi stamps, so here is my DT card:

 We have another challenge for you starting today over at Passion for Markers, I don't think I have ever seen this theme before, but it s a fun one - 'Inspired by your birthstone'

My birthstone is sapphire, so my fairy from Stampers Delights is coloured in blues:

 We have a new challenge starting today at Passion for Markers - another nice and easy one, Karen would like you to use your 'Favourite Colours' on your projects

I am in a phase of making different shaped cards and this time I chose to make a diamond easel card - courtesy of a Youtube video by Sam Calcott which you can find here.  My favourite colours always include pink and here I have teamed it up with turquoise.

Step Into Spring

Use A Die

 Morning all, sorry for the late post - I had to abandon posting this yesterday due to an emergency trip to the vet as our little Westie decided that her breakfast would be a packet of chewing gum!! After inducing vomiting, the vet said no harm had been done and we brought her home, thank goodness!

S, back to the challenge - it's my turn to choose a theme this week at Passion for Markers and I decided not to go with my normal 'pink' theme and instead I would like you to use at least one die on your project - I went a bit mad and used 3 different dies on my card, I wasn't sure at first about all the white space on my card, but I think it turned out ok in the end:

Image (from our sponsor ) is 'Hedgehog Flower' - All Dressed Up Stamps

Dies used: For the card shape I used the beautiful 'Butterflies In Flight' border die and I also used Spellbinders' 'Floral Oval' and  'Intricate Bunting' from Intricut

I used my Spectrum Noir markers and some Promarkers to colour and finished off with a Kanban sentiment and a rainbow bow

January Blues

 Happy New Year! 

And with the New Year comes a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers - Lisa would like you to use shades of blue for this challenge, remember to pop in to the Promarker Blog for some blue inspiration

I decided to use a fun image for this one as I'm feeling a bit blue and could do with cheering up (Covid ripped through the family like a bowling ball, knocking everyone off their feet!)

It's Christmas!!!

 I can't believe it's nearly Christmas, but you know it must be true when it's time for our Mega Christmas challenge at Passion for Markers! Our theme is 'Anything Goes' although I decided to make a Christmas card:
