Playing Favourites

Oh boy, do we have a fab challenge for you this fortnight at Passion for Promarkers! It's both easy and hard at the same time - 'Use your Favourite Stamp or Digi'. So why is that hard? Well, I have so many favourites!!  I adore stamps from LOTV, Whimsy, the list goes on and on! But when I really thought about it - I had to use a stamp from my first love Penny Black and then to narrow it down to one - well here it is! - the stamp I have used the most, you can check my blog if you don't believe me

Passion for Promarkers - new challenge

Here we go again crafters, with the latest challenge at Passion for Promarkers. This time, we would like to see 'embossing' on you projects - either dry or heated, it's up to you, so head on over to the blog to get all the info here

For A Child

Morning all, just wanted to let you know about our latest challenge at Passion for Promarkers starting today, we would like to see projects 'For A Child' and if you can add stitching (faux or real) that would be fab!

I have been waiting for a chance to use this sweet fairy image, so I was thrilled when my son asked me for a card for a friend's little girl's first birthday - here is what I came up with:

Paper - 'Soft Cuddles (pink)' - LOTV

I used a Happy Birthday die and an alphabet die to personalise the card cut from kraft card

I also used my newest die 'Square Notched Corners' from Crafts Too for the mats and layers 

Finished off with a bow, flowers and pearls from my stash and the obligatory glitter on her wings!

On Parade

We have another nice easy challenge starting today at Passion for Promarkers, we would like to see Spots and/or Stripes on your projects.

I have had this digi stamp for a while and decided it was time to colour it up and add it to a fancy fold card which I saw on Youtube.

I can't believe how quickly it comes around to choose a theme for the PFP challenges! For my challenge this week, I would like to see projects made from Shaped Cards, don't forget to pop into the blog for more info and for some delicious inspiration from the Team 2 girls. I have used an image from our sponsors for my DT card:

L is for Love

I think this might be the latest I have ever posted for the challenge at Passion for Promarkers, but it's still open until Monday night, so get crafting! For this week's challenge we would like to see projects featuring Something Beginning with L, so my DT card is all about Love:

Image - 'Lovey Puppy' by Mama Elephant cut out using co-ordinating dies

I created the background using distress inks over a stencil and then applying Ranger translucent  texture paste for dimension and shine, neither of which show up in the photo!

The corners were cut with Sue Wilson's 'Meridian Edger' die and backed with silver mirri card

Enamel dots, sequins and a bow to finish off

Is it just me, or does it seem like Christmas never happened - it all seemed to pass in a blur, well,  roll on Spring!

Juggling Act

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, I can't believe it's already 2019!

And so, I have been back to work on some DT cards and my first one this year is for our 'Add A Sentiment'challenge at Passion for Promarkers

The cat, cupcakes and sentiment have all come from the 'Mew Are Pawesome' stamp set from Time for Tea Designs.

I used the co-ordinating dies  to cut them out and added them to the card with 3d foam

Paper -PlaidPatterns' 6 x 6 pad by My Favourite Things

I used Creative Expressions 'Pinpoint Checkboard' embossing folder and the circle is from Sue Wilson's 'Looped Snowflake' die set

I added a bow and some sequins to finish

Mega Christmas Challenge

Have you finished your Christmas cards?  For the first time, I have managed to finish making all my cards before the start of December and actually, I've made a start on next year's ones! (Got to do it while I'm in the mood!)

At Passion for Promarkers this week we have our Mega Christmas Challenge, we have so many fab prizes - I lost count! You can find all the details and some fantastic inspiration over on the blog.  The theme is 'Hip to be Square'

My DT card is a Christmas one:

I have used dies from the Spellbinders 'Curved Borders One' set and a snowflake punch

All finished off with a few mini pearls, a bow and - of course some glitter!
