Dies And Punches at Passion For Promarkers

It's Tuesday again and we have a new challenge at PFP - The lovely Sue has chosen Dies and/or Punches as the theme

You can use any image and as many die cuts and/or punchouts as you please, but you must use your Promarkers of course!

I could have gone to town with die cuts if I'd done a girly card, however we had   a family birthday coming up and so I opted for a male card - This image makes me want to laugh out loud! and I think the sentiment is particularly apt, lol!

Papertastic (Take 2)

Hello again!

Here is my second DT card for my challenge at Passion for Promarkers - warning - there is a lot of pink on this card! I decided to do something a bit different and have tried a triple easel card - a bit fiddly, but fun to make and I don't think it came out too bad considering I'm still papercrafting one - handed!

I have used another delicious LOTV paper pad (I'm so addicted to these!)

Papertastic (Take 1)

Well, the year is progressing rapidly and I don't seem to be  getting any more organised! After getting my dates mixed up and not submitting a DT card for the last PFP challenge.This week, I managed to make a card which I was fairly happy with until I realised that I had not used the sponsor image! So it was back to the scoring board for Papertastic Take 2! which I'll be posting later. Happy New Year (belated!)

This is my first post of 2016 and it's late, so much for New Year's resolutions! Does anyone ever keep them I wonder?!

A new challenge began today at Passion for Promarkers and it's a fab one! 'Fantasy'

I had a job to choose from my stash of stamps as I'm partial to dragons, fairies etc

In the end I opted for this little sweetie as she hasn't been used for too long!and I also used this lovely lace effect die that I got for Christmas which I think really looks like the real thing!

Mega Christmas Challenge

Oops, I was so wrapped up in Christmas preparations that I forgot to schedule this post for this morning, but the good news is that it's not too late to join in the Mega Christmas Challenge at Passion for Promarkers

In fact the challenge is running right up to the 5th of January, so if you are lucky enough to receive any crafty stash for Christmas you can get on and use it to enter your your project!

Going dotty!

Oh dear, how late is this post? I think I will have to start wearing big fluffy rabbit ears and carrying around a large time piece!

We have a new challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers and it'a nice easy one - 'Spots and/or stripes' 

A usual,  we have a yummy prize up for grabs as well as the chance to be in our Top 5, so pop over to PFP for all the details and some wonderful DT inspiration

I decided to go with spots AND stripes as it's such a fab combination and I've used an image from All Dressed Up - I'm just addicted to their cute 'Little Girl' range and I made this sweetie into a criss-cross card - I love this style of card and it's been ages since I made one

Animals at Passion for Promarkers

It can't really be Tuesday again, can it? Well, if that's the case we have a new challenge for you at PFP and it couldn't be easier - the theme is 'Animals', so, pop over to the challenge blog to see what yummy prize is up for grabs and see what the Team 2 girlies have been up to....

The problem I had with this challenge, was which image to use, I have many adorable animal stamps, in the end I opted for this cuie from Helz Cuppleditch's 'Riverbank Revels' range. The papers are so bright and cheery, I need to hang on to summer for a little while longer!

FUN IN THE SUN

Horray, If I've scheduled this post correctly, I may actually be on time for once!  At Passion for Promarkers this week,  we would like to see projects inspired by our theme of 'Fun In The Sun' I don't know about the rest of the country, but down here in the South East it has been glorious for some time now and so it was nice and easy to get in the mood to make a card for this theme.I have chosen a fabby image from Tiddly Winks as it was my nephew's birthday and the little boy in the image looks just like him, along with his dog too!

Image - 'My Beach Boy' - Tiddly Inks coloured with promarkers, I added some glossy accents to his sunglasses and 'frosted lace' stickles to highlight the water. 

The papers are actually cardstock from a local craft shop

Sweet Trio

Despite spending a week in Kings College hospital recently and recovering at home from the brain surgery - yes, there is still some left to be operated on, lol! I have actually had a lovely time lately,



My  recent letter sent to  Papercraft Essentials magazine was awarded the star letter prize - an amazing  parcel of crafty stash  from Craft Creations arrived just as I was discharged from the hospital - what a fabulous welcome home!



I also recently won the challenge at Dream Valley and the prize was a choice from the wonderful range of digi images at All Dressed Up - I chose 'Three Little Christmas Girls'

aren't they just gorgeous!  I made them into a card for a recent challenge at Passion for Promarkers , but didn't get it posted in time for the challenge as I was attached to my hospital bed at the time!Don't let that stop you though, there is a new challenge from the Team 1 girls this week, so head over here. But I decided they were just too cute not to post them at all, so here are my Three Little Christmas Girls carolling their hearts out!

The papers are  from one of the Nitwit pads available at LOTV

The embossing was done using a Fiskars plate - so old now!

The lace is from Trimcraft

I've also used the 'Musical Notes' die from Tattered Lace and 'A2 Scalloped Borders One' die from Spellbinders Borderabilities and a Hobbycraft snowflake punch

I also got  a Top 3 place at Tiddly Inks, I hope you don't think I'm showing off! I'm just so happy that other people still think my crafty efforts are worthy as there was a time when I wondered if I'd be able to get back to card-making at all.
