HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas
I can't believe it's already time for the first challenge of 2025 at Passion for Markers! We have an unusual theme this time from our lovely Linda - she would like you to 'Include An Insect'
I found a really sweet image that I thought was perfect for this challenge and here is my DT card:
Papers (quite old) from my stash
I used Sue Wilson's 'Double Stitched Ovals and 'Looped Ovals' dies to frame the image
Finished off with a bow and some cute wooden ladybugs
I followed a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2:
Yes, it's almost here! Are you all organised? I was way on schedule until I came down with the head cold from hell and now need to re-focus and get better in a hurry to finish up in time for the big day.
I don't remember ever feeling as poorly as I do with this cold, maybe it's just a nasty one or now I'm older I'm finding it harder to deal with? My chest has been so wheezy and rattled so much you would think I have Jacob Marley stuffed down my bra! 😂
Now onto the latest challenge at Passion for Markers and it's our Mega Christmas one - so multitudes of sponsors and loads of prizes are on offer , please check the PFM blog to see all the details and some fab inspiration from the Team 2 girls and check back in a couple of weeks when Team 1 will be showcasing their makes The theme is easy peasy - 'Anything Goes'
My DT card is a bit of an LOTV love fest:
Papers - LOTV
Sentiments and bow made using dies from Sue Wilson
Finished off with some festive glitter and a big gem
I followed one of the December sketches from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

We have been very lucky with the weather down here tucked away in the corner of the UK, but I know many places have had an awful time recently - I hope you have all managed to stay safe and dry

I hate to say the C word, but Christmas is creeping up very quickly, so my DT card for our new challenge at Passion for Markers is - yes, you guessed it - a Christmas card, lol
Our theme from Karen this time is 'Die-cuts and/or Punches' I think I may have gone a bit overboard on my die-cuts, but you certainly can't say that I didn't follow the theme!
Paper - LOTV 8 x8 paper pad
Dies used: 'Looped Ovals', 'Double Stitched Ovals and 'Warmest Wishes' sentiment (Festive Collection) from Sue Wilson
Corners from 'Christmas Holly' by Katy Sue with added mini gems for berries and finally a musical note punch from Hobbycraft
Finished off with red ribbon and a bow from my stash

We have another challenge for you starting today at Passion for Markers and it really couldn't be any easier this time! - Elaine would like to see projects for 'Birthdays'
Our sponsor is Beccy's Place
The DT got to play with an image from Beccy's shop - but - oh what a decision to make! All her digis are so lovely, but, in the end I chose to go with a gorgeous flower image which was so easy to colour because of the shading that Beccy has drawn - So pretty!
Well, autumn has really settled in now -all the leaves on the ground are the proof! and we have a very appropriate challenge starting at Passion for Markers - this time Wendy would like to see projects on the theme of 'Autumn Friends'
Our sponsor is Dr Digi's HOS
I know I say this every time, but that's because it's true! I cannot believe it has come around to my turn again to choose the challenge theme at Passion for Markers - but it IS my turn - so here is my theme 'Make It Masculine' and here is my card:
