Easter

I love Easter, not just for the chocolate, but this time of year, especially at the moment with this fantastic weather down in the south east. So I thought it was time for an Easter card. This sweet bunny's name escaped me for a while, I picked up several images of him from my local craft shop and did my usual and threw away the original packaging, doh!

In The Pink

Why am I such a messy crafter? I started this card with a lovely clean empty desk with loads of room and ended up working in a space about 10" square because there was so much stuff everywhere! Lol, I know I'm not the only one though! I struggle with card layouts, so it's nice when a favourite challenge blog has a sketch theme and this week at Lili's Little Fairies that's exactly what we've got. I didn't have the shade of background card that I wanted in my stash and so I coloured a piece of card with one of my promarkers.

Monster Birthday

I know that I have mentioned before that like many crafters I have a problem with ideas for male cards and tend to stick to making pretty things! However, sometimes we have to come out of our comfort zones, especially when a male birthday comes up! So here is today's card, made for a friend's little boy, I don't think he turned out too bad, I did wonder whether the orange was actually a bit peachy and I'm never sure whether to use ribbon on a male card!

Mum 3

Here is yet another Mother's Day card, couldn't resist using another cute image from LOTV. I was going to be on the football pitch bright & early yet again on Sunday morning, but the game has been postponed, shame!! So I'll be getting up late, doing very little and crafting without feeling too guilty!

Wedding

A friend of mine is getting married soon and so I have made a Wedding card for a change. I have used some pretty lilac ribbon and so I've entered the 'Ribbons & Bows' challenge this week at I Love Promarkers.

Mum 2

My second card for the 'Mum/Female Relative' challenge at PFP and 'Mother's Day at CYDA features another cute LOTV image. I think my colouring is improving, but I still aspire to the talent of many bloggers out there!

Mum

Yesterday was such a lovely day and for once I had the morning off from standing in the cold cheering my son on at football, so instead I barricaded myself in my craft room and soaked up the sunshine under the skylight while I got crafty. This is first of two cards I am entering into the 'Mum/Female Relative' challenge at PFP and 'Mother's Day' at CYDA.

Spring

Last week it seemed that Spring was on it's way and this week a lot of challenge blogs are challenging us to make Spring related projects. How quickly things can change, temperatures here are barely above freezing and the wind is bitter! Thankfully, we crafters have good imaginations! For this card I have used another Penny Black stamp featuring the hedgehogs, (can't get enough of these cute characters) and I have followed the sketch at ICS.
